TEMS Equipment

The main pieces of equipment that The Entrance Men's Shed acquired from the Open Shutters donation are the large air-compressor, a photocopier and a large table saw.

All equipment that would have to be purchased to fit out the workshop. All in good working order and the three phase power outlets are getting a workout already.

Much of the other items were too large to fit The Entrance Shed but were keenly snapper up at other sheds seeking to expand the capability of their sheds and ensureing that access to these excellent machines remains within the reach of Mens Shed's in the Central Coast and Hunter region.

Open Shutters Donation

The Open Shutters equipment arrives at The Entrance Men's Shed. Steve from Berkeley Vale Steel has collected the equipment from the Open Shutters factory and Ian is offloading with his low rise fork lift.

That forklift certainly saved our backs for a quite reasonable fee.

If it looks wet in the photo thats pretty much the way it was. Seemed to pour every time a new piece of equipment was offloaded. Many thanks to Steve for his patience and persistence over the last two days.

Our thanks to Dave from Mingara Club for his liason with Open Shutters and for transport from Berkeley Vale Steel. Our thanks to for Peter's help at the factory identifying what equipment was available and smoothing the way for collection.

Docking Saw

This Docking Saw, donated by Express Timber Solutions will be a welcome addition to The Entrance Men's Shed. With equipment like this it has to be an attractive proposition to come on down the shed and start getting into some personal or community projects.

Now who wants to build that bench?

Express Timber Solutions has also donated various materials and tools to TEMS. The "shedders" apreciated the generosity of local business.
