On the 30th October I went to Canberra to the Blokes Big BBQ on the front lawn of Parliament House.
It was very well attended John Sharples and my self represented the Central Coast.
There were sheds represented from far and wide one man from Freemantle WA, a large group from Mt Gravatt QLD, Shepparton VIC and many parts of NSW.
BBQ was supplied by Masters the new hardware chain opening up all over Australia soon.
I received an invitation to attend the Vietnam Veterans Federation Shed in Page ACT and Yass Valley Men's Shed. I got to Page on the Tuesday afternoon where I was welcomed and shown around and had a cuppa with the President.
On Thursday 1/11/2012 I went to lunch with the guys at Yass Valley Men's Shed. I was made very welcome there with lunch and a tour of their shed which was very good.
